Chuck Nutting

Chuck Nutting, a BSB Solutions Engineer, grew up in East Detroit, MI with his younger brother Bill. At an early age, their father and uncles taught them the importance of hard work and how to operate with mechanical tools.

Chuck started out as a self-taught telephone technician for Detroit Communications. In 1991 he joined BSB as a part-time technician. As BSB started to grow so did Chuck's responsibilities as he soon became the lead technician and trainer. With his self-taught ability to read and understand schematics along with his engineering and problem-solving skills, Chuck played an instrumental role in BSB's success, especially in the Educational and Government sector.

Chuck lives in Clinton Township with his wife Linda and their cat Abby. He is a proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. When Chuck is not busy responding to RFP's and aiding in designing telecom solutions, you will find him spending time with family.

MLB Partners with Mitel to Improve Communications Technology on and off the Field

BSB Communications and Systems Engineer Troy Sheets, are proud to be selected as the Mitel Partner to install and support the Unified Communications system for Major League Baseball at Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers.

Major League Baseball recently announced details of a new partnership with Mitel, a global leader in business communications, to power the league's communication tools and connections across 30 MLB ballparks.

The new partnership will transform the existing 30 independent platforms for dugout, bullpen, video review rooms and press box communications into a common, unified system featuring enhanced security and call recording capabilities. This new system will provide the capability to record and monitor all communications conducted on the phone to ensure compliance with all Major League Baseball rules and regulations.

"Mitel is a global leader in providing the kind of sophisticated, custom communications network that addresses the unique needs of Major League Baseball and our 30 Clubs," said Chris Marinak, MLB Executive Vice President, Strategy, Technology & Innovation.

Another Great Idea!

At last year's Techtoberfest – BSB's Fall Technology Expo, a number of our clients suggested we consider forming a MiContact Center User Group (MCUG).

INTRODUCING BSB MiCONTACT CENTER USER GROUP (MCUG)

For customers who currently have MiContact Center and with the help of Mitel, BSB will be hosting the MCUG. We intend to help facilitate the group and to create opportunities for you to network with one another and to share best practices and other information that will allow you to more fully leverage your investment in Mitel’s MiContact Center suite of application software. BSB recently hosted a Lunch and Learn to launch the MCUG and to discuss the following topics.

  • MICC 9.0 new release (3/1/2018) Features and Benefits
  • Contact Center Reporting
  • Mitel's Contact Center Road Map for upcoming releases
  • Training Classes on MICC and Reporting and much more

The First MCUG meeting will be a training course on Supervising Your Contact Center. BSB has arranged for Mitel to conduct their remote, leader-led Supervising Your Contact Center course for the MCUG. The course runs 4 hours and is intended for contact center managers and supervisors. Ordinarily, these courses are intended for a single organization.
